ABOUT THE ROLE

The construction miner is part of the mining operations team. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the construction and maintenance of mine infrastructure

DESCRIPTION

  • Carry out all work related to the construction of mine infrastructure
  • Apply instructions on plans and specifications
  • Respect, know and promote company regulations and policies, particularly with regard to health and safety
  • All other related tasks

REQUIREMENTS

  • Professional Studies Diploma in ore extraction
  • Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience
  • Mining modules 1 to 5 and 7
  • General explosives permit
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Bilingualism (asset)
  • Welding and oxygen cutting competency cards

COMPETENCIES

  • Adaptability
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a remote location and in a multicultural environment

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Schedule: 14 days of work followed by 14 days off
  • Eleonore mine site
