ABOUT THE ROLE

The Supervisor, Technical Training is part of the Human Resources team. This Supervisor is responsible for developing and implementing the Training Department structure. This Supervisor
primarily ensures the company’s organizational development through adapted training programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Plan, organize, direct and coordinate training activities and programs and ensure their follow-up.
  • Optimize and extend the buddy system.
  • Encourage systematic planning of support for the organizational mission by proposing adapted and adequate development tools.
  • Create partnerships with various government and/or public entities, such as educational institutions.
  • Optimize the government grant application process.
  • Respect, know and promote company regulations and policies, particularly with regard to health and safety.
  • Compile, complete and present information from the periodic training reports.
  • Ensure optimization of performance of his/her team by coaching.
  • Manage the budget related to training activities.
  • All tasks related to your duties.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

  • Postsecondary diploma in a relevant field (vocational training, human resources management or other) combined with experience in the mining field or a related field.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office suite.
  • Bilingualism essential in English and French (advanced).

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Schedule: 14 days of work followed by 14 days of rest
  • Eleonore mine site (Fly-in, Fly-out)
