Maintenance Planner – Major Shutdowns (Ref.: 32016)

The Planner is part of the Maintenance group, and works closely with the different maintenance teams. The incumbent is responsible for planning all maintenance activities during major scheduled shutdowns for all Mine Processes and Surface sectors.

DESCRIPTION

  • Plan and coordinate scheduled mechanics and instrumentation shutdown activities for all process operations, as well as major shutdowns of mine winches
  • Ensure the availability of human and material resources, parts and tools for maintenance work execution
  • Coordinate and facilitate planning meetings
  • Produce the GANNT chart for scheduled shutdowns and preparation work
  • Support the maintenance planning team as needed for vacation, etc.
  • Know, respect and promote the health and safety, environment and community relations rules
  • Take part in the health and safety activities of the services concerned
  • Perform all other tasks related to the performance of his/her duties

REQUIREMENTS

  • College or vocational diploma in mechanics or all other relevant trainings
  • Minimum five years of relevant planning experience in Heavy Industry
  • Minimum three years of experience planning maintenance
  • Have a valid driver’s licence
  • Knowledge of IT, , MS Office, MD Project and maintenance application software
  • SAP knowledge a plus
  • Mining industry experience a huge plus
  • Bilingual French-English (an asset)
