Job Description

Position: Warehouse Clerk

Department: Procurement

Sub-department: Warehouse

Schedule: 14 days of work followed by 14 days off

Location: Renard Mine

Home port: Val-d’Or, Chibougamau-Chapais, St-Hubert and Quebec airports

Posting date: From April 17, 2023 to May 8, 2023

Reporting to the Warehouse Coordinator, the Warehouse Clerk performs a variety of tasks in the Renard Mine warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Receive, expedite, identify and control equipment;
• Store items in an orderly manner in accordance with the company standard;
• Processing requests received and dispatching or distributing materials;
• Maintain inventory records using a computerized system (Guide TI);
• Operate equipment such as a forklift or a telescopic handler;
• Respect, know and promote the company’s regulations and policies, particularly regarding inventory management and health and safety;
• Carry out all other tasks related to the position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or combination of relevant education;
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a warehouse and inventory management;
• Valid driver’s license (class 5);
• Good written and oral communication skills in French and knowledge of English is an asset;
• Ability to work with systems such as Microsoft Office Suite and Guide TI;
• Forklift operator training, an asset;
• Have a concern for customer service;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Good organizational skills.
