Schedule: 14 days of work followed by 14 days of leave

Location: Renard Mine

Home port: Val-d’Or, Chibougamau-Chapais, St-Hubert and Quebec airports

Summary

Under the supervision of the Mechanical Foreman, the Refueling Equipment Operator is responsible for refueling and oiling surface equipment.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Check and maintain the refueling equipment properly;
• Perform diesel and oil refueling of production equipment;
• Safely operate the equipment required for refueling;
• Ensure the safe and efficient execution of activities related to the tasks;
• Collaborate closely with supervisors, operators and team members;
• Securing the work area;
• Participate actively in planning, health and safety and training meetings;
• Participate actively in planning, health and safety and training meetings; Complete daily and other reports properly;
• Respect laws, regulations and work procedures;
• Properly execute the correct work in the CMMS system;
• Perform all other related duties;

Qualifications 

• Experience with a 10-wheel truck at various tasks;
• Valid class 3 driver’s license;
• Exemplary attitude towards health and safety in the workplace;
• Autonomous and resourceful;
• Ability to work in a team environment;
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to complete tasks;
• Ability to work proactively and efficiently;
• Versatile and flexible in terms of tasks;
• Interest and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
