ABOUT THE ROLE
The Service Truck Operator is part of the Surface Services team. He/she is responsible for operating service trucks, such as tampers, concrete mixers, 25-ton trucks, etc., required for surface services operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Move machinery using a fardier
- Operate concrete mixer
- Operate 25-ton truck for civil engineering work
- Ensure proper operation of equipment through periodic mechanical inspection
- Respect, know and promote company regulations and policies, particularly in terms of health and safety.
- Keep the workplace clean and safe at all times
- Report all incidents/accidents to supervisor
- Participate in ongoing training program to improve best practices
- All tasks related to the performance of duties
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- Vocational diploma in heavy machinery operation or more than 2 years’ relevant experience
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license
- Bilingualism, French and English (an asset)

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work schedule: 14 days of work followed by 14 days of rest
- Eleonore Mine Site (fly-in, fly-out from Montreal, Chibougamau, Matagami, Rouyn-Noranda, Val D’Or and Wemindji)
