Job Description

Location: Renard mine

Posting date: Val-d’Or, Chibougamau-Chapais, Saint-Hubert and Quebec airpots

• Properly check and maintain plant equipment;
• Install, align and safely maintain equipment such as: conveyors, pumps, screens, piping and valves;
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, welding and flame cutting;
• Work closely with the operation team members;
• Perform troubleshooting work;
• Be able to work at heights and on several tiers;
• Participate actively in planning, health and safety and training meetings;
• Adequately complete daily reports and other documents;
• Observe the work-related laws, rules and procedures;
• Operate an overhead crane and drive a forklift and boom lift.

You have a vocational diploma (DEP) in industrial construction and maintenance mechanics or equivalent experience in a crushing and screening plant;

• You have a minimum of two (2) years experience in ore concentration mechanics;
• You have experience with jaw and cone crushers and good knowledge in welding and piping;
• You have a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (knowledge of IT Guide is an asset);
• You are known to have an exemplary attitude towards health and safety in the workplace;
• You are able to communicate by radio in French and/or English;
• You are autonomous, resourceful, versatile and flexible in your tasks;
• You have excellent teamwork skills;
• You have an interest and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
