Maintenance Electrician – Mine (2 Positions Available)

Purpose

The Fixed Mechanical Maintenance Planner is part of the mine’s Maintenance Services team. He/she is responsible for providing fixed maintenance planning services for the entire operations of the mine. He/she mainly plans, organizes, leads and coordinates the sequence of fixed maintenance activities, in collaboration with the supervisors of the fixed mechanical, instrumentation and electrical mine maintenance.

Essential Duties

• Plan fixed equipment maintenance activities for the mining department
• Develop, implement and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Solve problems related to its sector of activities and recommend measures to be taken to improve department productivity
• Estimate the human resources and equipment required for performing the work
• Ensure the availability of parts, tools and equipment required before beginning the work
• Maintain various reports and lists and periodically report on the status of activities in progress
• Prepare the weekly planning schedule in partnership with other sectors
• Collect and analyze maintenance-related data (KPI): equipment failure, work, performance, etc. and produce a monthly report
• Respect, know and promote company regulations and policies, particularly in health and safety
• All other job-related duties

Training & Experience

• College Studies Diploma in Industrial Maintenance Technology or in a relevant field
• Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in maintenance planning in the mining industry
• Computer knowledge including SAP planning software, Excel and Microsoft Teams.
• Bilingualism

WORK LOCATION AND SCHEDULE

• Schedule : 8 days of work at the site followed by 6 days of rest followed by two weeks of 4 days of work at home and 3 days of rest
• Eleonore Mine site (Fly-in, Fly-out)
