DEVELOPMENT MINER – JUMBO BOLTER (2 positions)

The Blaster is part of the mining operations team. He/She ensures the smooth flow of production loading zones.
DESCRIPTION:
- Load blast holes and fire shots
- Drill the blast holes according to the plans and specifications
- Clean up his; her workplace and perform basic maintenance of equipment
- Participate in the deployment of water, air and ventilation utilities
- Ensure compliance with the health and safety rules regarding the position
- Perform his/her tasks according to the Company’s standards
- Complete any tasks related to the performance of his duties
REQUIREMENTS:
- Have at least 5 to 10 years’ experience on MacLean and Jumbo bolters
- Have abilities and experience to operate the boom drill (bolting and drilling)
- DEP (diploma of vocational education) in ore extraction
- Have the mine worker modular training card
- Hold a general explosives permit
- Have a valid driver’s licence
- Bilingual (an advantage)
- Be accredited by the Éléonore Training Department

- Schedule: 14 days of work followed by 14 days off
