NATURE OF WORK
The position of administration officer entails the performance of the management duties pertaining to the technical and administrative activities required in the School Operations department. For the
preparation and project development of the MOZAIK portal in relation to GPI/Jade in regards student data information, document management and the preparation of various documents, or
activities within School Operations.
The position consists in providing, within the incumbent’s field of competence, advice to other School Operations with other school administrative staff to promote the optimal management of student data management or activities under their responsibility.
Contributes to the consultative process for developing the objectives and strategies of the school board dealing with School Operations, collaborates with other staff members in determining the annual action plan focusing on school data management.
Collaborates with Coordinator of Data Management in developing and implementing the transition to the MOZAIK systems, standards and procedures related to MOZAIK and ensures that they are applied.
Ensures the planning, organization, and execution of various technical and administrative activities for school operations according to the priorities and schedules established.
Commitment to learning all GRICS systems to be able to manage and facilitate the trainings to all applicable stakeholders.
Collaborates upon request, in creating management tools and training tools adapted to the needs of the department and other administrative units.
Supports the administrators of the department and the support staff of School Operations as it relates to MOZAIK/GPI.
Assures the quality control over the various operations and activities for the MOZAIK/GPI/JADE systems.
Prepares and circulates reports, documents and statistics relating to their sector of activity.
A College Diploma in an appropriate field.
Fluency in French, English and Cree.
At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of the GRICS system is an asset.
Comfortable working in a computerized environment.
High level of autonomy flexibility and strong communication and inter-cultural skills.
Conscious and meticulous in their work.
Some travelling will be required.
Regular Full-time position.
Salary: $68,705 – $91,605
Northern Allowance: $8,484 to $13,573
*Given the current salary regulations and guidelines at the Cree School Board, candidates from another Quebec School Board will be able to obtain a salary as per the scale above-mentioned. However, candidates that are not from the education sector are not eligible to a salary above the midpoint of the position’s salary scale.
