As a main role in the organization, the Administrative Assistant carries out administrative tasks, provides support to the various departments, assists in the preparation of meetings and ensure the quality of documents and materials.

Responsibilities 

  • Ensure to answer calls, take messages and forward to the appropriate recipients;
  • Manage online information requests;
  • Maintains and updates the electronic and paper filling systems;
  • Oversees all requests and inventory of office supplies, maintenance of equipment and purchase when required;
  • Manage the use of corporate vehicles and their maintenance;
  • Provides support as needed to the various department – Marketing, Product Development, Communication, Management;
  • On request, processes various reports, memoranda, and other documents based on indications;
  • Assist in the preparation and make arrangements for committee, board and other meetings;
  • Prepares all relevant documents and ensures effective logistics for the Board of Directors and committees;

Education & Experience

Diploma of Vocational Studies in secretarial duties and/or 3 years of relevant professional experience or Diploma of College Studies in Office Administration and 1 year of relevant professional experience.

All other combinations of training and relevant experience may be considered

Qualifications requested

  • Fluent English with a strong level of written;
  • Knowledge of French and/or Cree is an asset;
  • Motivated and capable of working independently and in a team;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and web browsers;
