NATURE OF WORK

The work of this employee consists in performing various types of technical tasks including, without limitation those related to the accounting. Furthermore, this employee shall assist in performing various tasks of any administrative nature for the purpose of assuring satisfactory operations. In addition, this employee may assist the professional personnel in the performance of these duties.

CHARACTERISTIC FUNCTIONS

In the area of financial and accounting, the administrative technician collects data, makes analysis, and prepares files or information for the preparation of the budget. The administrative technician makes proper recommendations at this effect.

Furthermore, he performs various administrative work on behalf of those responsible for overall administration; for this purpose, he collects and prepares data information in order to send the organization concerned the overall administrative requirements in terms of budgets, year-end audit; he sees that the central organizations responsible for these items are informed and, if necessary, she/he acts as representative of his unit to these organizations; he may attend meetings for the purpose of informing management personnel of difficulties harmful to good administration.

The incumbent ensures that bank reconciliations, transfers and deposits are processed.

Moreover, they make accounting entries, transfers, and reconciliations in the various programs used by the Finance department according to processes in place.

If need be, he/she performs any other related duty.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma of College Studies in Business Administration or relevant field;

Previous relevant work experience in a position with similar responsibilities is an asset;

Fluent in English and Cree;

Knowledge of French is an asset;

Good communication and interpersonal skills;

Detail oriented;

Ability to work under pressure;

Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment;

Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and respect deadlines;

Computer skills

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS & SALARY

Regular Full-Time.

35 hrs/week
