This one-year program offers Cree post-secondary graduates the opportunity to gain work experience in their chosen field of studies. This was designed for students graduating from unique programs who cannot find work related to their studies in Eeyou Istchee.

APPLICATION PROGRESS - STUDENTS

Graduates interested in becoming an Intern can contact the ASD Employment Integration Counsellor directly. The EIC will work collaboratively with graduates to seek out possible placements. Contact internship@cngov.ca

Program Eligibility

  • Graduate must have a College diploma/university degree from an accredited program
  • Has graduated in the last two years
  • Must not already be employed in their field

Careers

Employers can contact the ASD Employment Integration Counsellor or their local ASD Program Officer if they are looking for a graduate to intern with their organization. Applications for funding by employers will go to the Program Officer office.
